Laura Angelia is an Indonesian foodie and travel blogger and influencer. Other than food and travel, she keeps a great passion for exploring the world, and she's willing to share her experience to others.

AsiaKOL：How did you start your travel influencer career? Do you remember your first trip?

Laura Angelia：It was in 2012. I went to Korea and bought my new camera. Then I posted photos I took on my blog.

But when I came back to Indonesia, I had no idea what to write about. So I started to blog funny places in Surabaya while planning my next trip and saving money.

AsiaKOL：Which was the trip that impressed you most? What happened there?

Laura Angelia：I think the most unforgettable trip should be the trip to Ranu Kumbolo. That's a beautiful lake on the top of a mountain.

I didn't prepare much before climbing that mountain. But I succeeded in reaching the top after 6 hours. 3:00am before dawn, outside the cold tent, I witnessed the spectacular milky way, which I will never forget.

AsiaKOL：Which is your favorite place till now?

Laura Angelia：That should be Japan. I keep remind myself that the world is too large to see, never visit the same place twice. But Japan is that exception, I wanna travel there once and once again.

AsiaKOL：After becoming a KOL, is there something that change or influence your life?

Laura Angelia：I thought I'm still not a travel influencer, as most people thought I'm a foodie blogger. Because I accumulated a little influence in Surabaya as a foodie blogger. This is great! Thanks God to give me such a chance. Those information I shared on social media really helped a bunch of people. I'm so happy about that. The biggest change is gaining weight I think haha!

AsiaKOL：Is there any comments or feedback you received impressed you a lot?

Laura Angelia：Yes of course! I really love to check comments from my followers. I received lots of emails, sometimes I even received complement from foreign fans which surprised me. I feel so happy that my blogs can help them, that really deeply touched me. All the feedbacks are sincere, there are also many people who give me advice to improve my blogs. I love them.

AsiaKOL：How do you interact with fans? Any interesting stories?

Laura Angelia： I try to interact with them as much as I can, as I often reply their emails and comments. Sometimes I will give away some gifts to them~
