AsiaKOL: How did you become interested in cosmetics?

Ma Xiao Bei Bei: I like to look beautiful every day. I try to match my make up style with my outfit. After some time, I feel in love doing it.

AsiaKOL: What change after you became a cosmetic influencer? Would you explain your influencer experience?

Ma Xiao Bei Bei: I find beauty interesting & fascinating. I am able to communicate with other influencers and people because of beauty. I am a very shy person, but after becoming a cosmetics influencer, I have become more outspoken. Maybe because my friends all have the same hobby and it has allowed us to have a common interest. I also learnt that I like communicating with people.

AsiaKOL: Is being a cosmetics influencer your life’s key role? How do you balance between your work & life? 

Ma Xiao Bei Bei: When I first started, I felt that being a KOL wasn’t my priority. But as time goes on, my friends started asking my about cosmetics and I was happy to help them. From then on I started being interested in it. I feel like I don’t really need to balance between my life & work as what I am doing now seems natural.

AsiaKOL: How do you manage your time between work time & influencer time? What would you do when there is a clash between your work & personal life?

Ma Xiao Bei Bei: I would normally just do what I find most interesting at that time. There is rarely a clash between my work & KOL time. I love what I am doing now so it doesn’t really matter to me. I will give my 100% to what I am doing.

AsiaKOL: What are the most notable comments you received from your fans?

Ma Xiao Bei Bei: There was once a person commented “I am coming everyday to see you”. I feel that this comment is so sweet and lovely.

AsiaKOL: How do you normally interact with your fans? Do you have any interesting story to share?

Ma Xiao Bei Bei: I would sometimes give my fans a small gift. But because I have so many fans, its difficult to take care of all of them. Some of them do get emotional. Its funny & heart-warming at the same time.
