AsiaKOL: How did you become interested in cosmetics?

Kou Dai Wa Wa Miao Miao: When I was in high school, I was short & fat. I had no self-confident.

One day I went to my mentor sister’s home to play. She put on make up for me & when I saw the mirror I felt like an angle. At the same time, I was studying art as well, so I started cosmetics as well.

AsiaKOL: What change after you became a cosmetic influencer? Would you explain your KOL experience?

Kou Dai Wa Wa Miao Miao: The best part is that when I am shopping for cosmetics with my friends, they don’t need ask for the sales person for advice.

AsiaKOL: Is being a cosmetics influencer your life’s key role? How do you balance between your work & life?

Kou Dai Wa Wa Miao Miao: At the beginning I just liked sharing my expertise. But when more people started following me on the internet, I was a bit unsure that if this was the life I wanted. But every time I get approval & recognition from my fans, it really cheers me up and make me believe that I can keep doing it.

AsiaKOL: What are the most notable comments you received from your fans?

Kou Dai Wa Wa Miao Miao: I have a fan who is about the same age as my mom. She often comment very positively and give health advises. I find it very cute. I sometimes even wondered if she is my real mother. (But of course, I know she is not)

AsiaKOL: How do you normally interact with your fans? Do you have any interesting?

Kou Dai Wa Wa Miao Miao: I interact with my fans as how I would interact with my actual friends. One of my fans was really surprised that I replied her. She thought it would just be an automated reply. She had an impression that most influencer are cold and arrogant. Sometimes she would still send me messages just to see if I will remember her. It lasted for more than a month and she forgotten what she wanted to consult with me in the first place.
