In recent years, food influencer has become more popular among Vietnamese millennials who consider social network platforms such as Instagram and YouTube part of their life.

The popular photo and video-sharing social networking service Instagram has quickly become a ‘food heaven’ for many Vietnamese food influencer to introduce their works to the world.

AsiaKOL: Would you explain your influencer experience?

Ninh Tito: During the first year, I only used money from my own pocket for the food I reviewed, but currently I have 30 percent of the expenses sponsored by eateries.

AsiaKOL: Is there anything else you would like to share with us?

Ninh Tito: Right now, my main income comes from job where restaurants invites me to try their dishes. But a food influencer has had to go a long way to reach this point. You have to build up your reputation and reach a certain position in this industry, before you get invited by eateries. It is not easy thing.

AsiaKOL: How do you normally interact with your fans?

Ninh Tito: Right now, I have a follower base of 73,800 on instagram account “ninheatingand 128,000 subscribers on YouTube channel. Once you consider this your main job, you have to keep it constantly stable and fresh, which requires you to publish new posts every day. Sometimes I do not only wait for invitations from restaurants, but also explore good places to share with people on my own.

AsiaKOL: How would you describe your influencer experience in one sentence?

Ninh Tito: I will pursue this job for long because it took me hard to make up my mind and this is also the job that I am passionate about.
