There were 428 Japanese KOLs who mentioned "Taiwan Tourism", while the influencers from South Korea amounted to 1,010, and South Korea accounted for more than 70% of the total.

Further analysis of the field of influencer who travel in Taiwan, they come from many different industries like Gourmet cuisine, Fashion trends, Cosmetic (Beauty maintenance), Sports and Fitness, Family & Baby, and even artist. Among them, top 3 industry are Gourmet, Fashion and Cosmetic. From these results we suggest brands promoting their product to explore “Must Eat” & “Must See” angles through influencer’s point of view. It will go viral on the network and influence people to follow.


Shifen Scenic Area, National Palace Museum, Tainan popular attractions are most popular among Japan and Korea influencers.

According to the hot topics in this analysis, they are sorted by the number of praises and comments. The Shifen, Nation Palace Museum and Tainan are the three most popular attractions that are most likely to trigger discussion among netizens.

Korea influencer- Bora Kim posted I love Taiwan, making Taiwan & Korea followers enjoying commenting together. And Japan influencer-Machicoco recommend foods in Tainan, she not only in the post said love Taiwan but also recommend it to her Japanese friends: "Taiwan is not only delicious foods, but also handsome and trendy, and has fun cities!" Even personally filming Taiwan’s must-go attractions and gathering books!

In addition to the must-see destinations for tourism, Taiwan’s must-eat food is also highly regarded by the Japanese and Korean influencers.
